the Hanok Eaves Chair are inspired by
the eaves of traditional architecture, Hanok.
From afar,
it appears serene,
yet up close,
it reveals its dynamism
like the graceful curves of
hanok eaves.
It encapsulates simple beauty through the basic structure and proportions
of an armchair.
But upon closer scrutiny,
hidden details come to light.
The backrest and armrest are connected structurally through half-blind dovetail joints, forming a triangle pattern as a design focal point.
The apron is designed with convex curves to soften its edges and sharpness.
We capture Korean aesthetics
